Arthemia Premium at ColorLabs Project

Arthemia is unleashing the power of Wordpress to become a simple-yet-powerful CMS (content management system) with the automatic thumbnail generation feature and theme administration panel. The Theme Walk-Through
The header part of the theme consists a small logo and a wide area for 728×90 advertisement space. Below, we have a nice drop-down navigation bar which displays pages that we have in our blog. To the right of the navigation bar, there is a search box and a magnifier icon.
Below the bar, there are the headline and featured section. The black box on the left will display one headline post of your blog and a short excerpt of the post. Excerpts can be added manually per post or taken automatically from the first 55 words of the post. There are two different layout for the headline section, you can see both live here and here. The featured section, located on the right, rotates a number of featured posts along with their thumbnails. Number of rotating posts can be defined from the theme admin panel.
Below those sections is the category bar. This colorful category bar will display five of your blog’s category along with the description of each category. To the left-bottom of the category bar, there is one big section that will display the content of your latest post. Below the latest post, there is a post listing which has a 2-column/1-column layout, each of which can be set from the theme admin panel. To the right of the post listing is the sidebar and category spoilers. These colorful category spoilers will display the latest post from its category and just below those spoilers are the normal blog-like widgets. You can add whatever widget you like there, just like usual Wordpress blogs.
There are also a video section and random post section at the bottom of the page. The video section will display your latest video blog post and the video can be played right away from the front page. To the right of the video section is the random post section that will display 12 random posts of your blog, each of which is displayed in the thumbnail form. Just above the footer section, there are 3-column of favorite post lists and you can add ’sidebar’ widgets here as well.

- Theme Administration Panel.
You’ve got no idea about PHP, (X)HTML, and CSS? Don’t worry about all the complicated commands and manage everything from the theme administration panel. You can assign images for header logo, bookmark (favorite) icon, categories for headline and featured section, categories to be shown in the category bar, latest posts from each category, thumbnail sizes, show/hide post excerpts, and all. - Category Color Assignment.
You can assign colors to each of your blog category and stand out with your own styling. Colorful, duotone, grayscale, you name it. And again, no need to edit the stylesheet template. You can style the color to match your liking or simply customize it to match your logo color tone. Simply add the Web hex color values to the category color setting in the theme admin panel and, voila, your website, a new look. - Auto-Thumbnail Your Old Posts.
Seriously, please forget the time-consuming thumbnail generation with Photoshop, forget Wordpress Post Custom Fields. Thumbnails across the theme will be assigned and generated automatically as requested, for every image sizes. You don’t need to spend your valuable time creating the thumbnail images but purely focus to your website content. Both automatic and via-custom-field assignment are available. - Easy Customizations.
You can also customize the look of your pages. Show or hide headline spoilers, colorful category bar, category spoilers, and video/random post gallery with a single click. If you don’t need any of those features, simply turn it off to suit your liking. The theme panel is designed to make all users, both novice and advanced users, experience the ease of customizations without getting any CSS/XHTML problem. - Google-friendly Website.
In addition to the integration of Google ad service: Adsense, Arthemia Premium provides you another in-depth integration with Google Analytics, the best and the most reliable web statistics, and with Google Feedburner, a feed and podcast management, giving you a better control of your RSS feeds. Feeds are automatically redirected and Google Analytics code is optimized to give you the best performance.

Is arthemia premium compatible with wordpress mu 2.7? Does it change code anywhere above the wp-content folder?
It is and it does not change any WP-core files.

I tried and tried and tried….
if i use Arthemia Prem. off-line with easyphp 2.0, i have some problems as to see the changes and the thumbnails in the right position I need to re-start the PC. but in this case it works.
If I try it on the web, i’m working trough ‘altervista.org’ nothing to do, the pictures are only in the post but nothing in the thumbnails on the featured neither headline or random post.
what is happening?

so, basically the error lies on the online server, right? please refer to the online documentation. there are some settings you might have forgotten. and please post for support service in the forum.

Is it possible to upgrade from single use license to 5 site license or developer license?
Sure. If you are already a customer, you can log in to the Member Site and see the Add/Renew Subscription menu. If you are our future customer, you can upgrade after you purchase the product.
I was about to buy this theme but unfortunately when I ran the w3c css validaor, it failed w/ many css errors (see results here).
Pls keep me posted if there are any plans to fix them so I can place an order.

Have you downloaded the latest version? Do you have access to the new membership site?
no, it was a mistake as i work with the arthemia 2, free edition not premium one.
before to go through the premium one I want to test the free edition understanding the differences. is there any free ed. for WP 2.7?
could you pls. give me a link to see examples (not the demo) developed with the premium edition? I saw it but then I didn’t find anymore.

Hi, we’re working on it. It seems that Platinum SEO Plugin does not support themes with query_posts(); command. Weird, though. But, let’s see what we can do.
I was unable to register on your forum, so I’m posting here .
1- Do you offer any support with the premium version? Ie; some help customising categories so that The H1 element matches the colours of the category??
2- Is the ptremium theme compatible with the new WP 2.7 release? and does it allow the new features of threaded comments etc?

Anyway, have you checked your spam folders for notification e-mail? I’ve just rechecked the forum and found everything working properly as it should be; I even tried to register.
And we only provide installation and configuration support for the premium theme. If you need any modification, you’ll need to discuss that in the forum.

I’m also trying to get a YouTube video to show up in the “latest video post” in the footer, but all I get is a link.
1. I created a category called Videos
2. I grabbed the YT video embedding code
3. I pasted it inside the html view of the post I created.
4. I assigned the post to the Videos category.
5. Video shows up in the post but not in the ‘latest video posts” footer.

Please post further questions in the forum. Anyway:

That means you need to upload larger image. It needs to be more than 200px wide x 225px tall.

That’s because the script automatically crop the image from the center point so that the result will still have its proportional size (height to width). I suggest you to upload an image with exactly 200px wide x 225px tall in size so you’ll know what exactly the thumbnail look like.

Of course. Please read the readme.pdf. It is well explained there that you need to add a custom Field named “Video”. Please read the manual.

I have the premium theme installed. I’m stuck on one point. I ahve selected square images for my headline section and I use First Image in the post.
The problem I’m having is with the resizing of the image in the headline section. It stretches my image so badly that it look distorted.
I have tried uploading a larger image than the default 150 x 150 thumbnail size, but that just cuts the head or the feet off my subject.
You’re really the last resort, s I’ve been trying to get this right for my client for two days.

Bro.. Kenapa ada duplikasi artikel? yang di kategori and recent.. Yang di Platformate juga gt deh kayaknya.. Perhaps bisa di-exclude, n aku yakin pasti bisa. So far, yang aku tau oke, baru designer yang maintain blog ini deh di Nusantara.
Eits, jangan salah, maksudku bukan si Jubel lho, hehe…
bisa-bisa aja sih. jadi ke-8 post di kiri di-exclude agar tidak ditampilkan di kotak warna-warni kanan apabila post itu sudah ditampilkan di listing kiri. walaupun pada beberapa kasus, kotak warna-warni kanan bisa kehilangan esensi dasarnya sebagai kotak yang menampilkan latest post from each category. kebingungan akan muncul apabila pembaca membuka halaman kedua, ketiga, dst di blog tsb karena content di kotak warna-warni itu akan berubah-ubah isinya.
atau logikanya dibalik.. latest posts yang ditampilkan di kotak warna-warni kanan tidak lagi ditampilkan di listing kiri. tapi itu juga akan menghilangkan esensi listing kiri sebagai listing blog konvensional yang menampilkan post secara sequential menurut waktu.
hahahaha..
tapi kayanya alternatif yang kedua tuh lebih logis. dan kotak warna-warni akan memiliki content yang tetap di tiap halaman. apalagi duplikasi sangat besar kemungkinannya untuk terjadi pada halaman awal, halaman yang paling banyak dikunjungi oleh para pengunjung..
btw bukan Jubel ya? siapa sih yang maintain blog ini? hahahaha..
