August 2012 was a rather busy month here at ColorLabs & Company. We relased two premium themes, Burogu and Letters, each being aimed at two different markets.

Burogu: Start your own Tumblr blog on WordPress

We are WordPress evangelists down to our cores but we have to admit Tumblr designs are so perfect for personal blogs. Simple, no fuss, straight to the point. The good news is, WordPress is so versatile and adaptive that we can develop a Tumblr-like web site on WordPress. Burogu is a premium WordPress theme that delivers Tumblr experience onto WordPress.

We know your mind is not always full of inspiration and sometimes writing hundreds of words on a blog post is just too much. We feel you. Sometimes you just want to share a wise quote that you find while stumbling upon a random web site. Letters: E-commerce or no e-commerce, that’s the question

Letters is our solution for business people. It’s got a corporate look and it’s built on an e-commerce engine. The home page design is very business-centric that it focuses on your company but it also supports e-commerce functions so you can sell your products right away, if you want to. Additionally, various page templates are available for you to showcase your recent works, product and services in more details.

The basic idea is to provide you the room for expansion, and reduction, at all points of your website development. Your website may start as a simple one-page landing site and later expand into a full-blown profit-making e-commerce website. Or things might happen so that you must have it the other way round. Who knows? In either case, the main functions of your website stay intact.
