Papuros – A Magazine WordPress Child Theme

We have a new Child Theme for Backbone Theme Framework! It’s a magazine-style WordPress theme and it’s called Papuros.

Papuros puts a lot of content on the page. The homepage layout shows excerpts of headlines of articles from a variety of different categories or topics on the front page, allowing visitors to have easy access to more content compared to a typical blog-style layout.

Two Homapage Layouts

Papuros has two types of layout for the homepage: Blog List and Group List. The blog list will show your latest blog post on your site, and the group list will show a category spoiler, gallery post that shows your blog thumbnails by category, and video post by category too. This way Papuros can cater the needs of all online publishing of any kind.

If you just started out in the online publishing industry and currently don’t have many content, or if you already have a blog and you just fell in love at the first sight with Papuros’s beautiful design, then the Blog List layout might be a better option for you. Of course if you have more content than your current theme can handle, I assure you the Group List homepage layout of Papuros is not only capable to handle them, but also display them in a way that please the eye.

Headline Slider

Everybody loves image slider – and for good reason. Papuros’ Headline Slider will emphasize your featured content to create interest amongst your visitors.

More Page Templates

Magazine style websites require careful organization and presentation to ensure that the most relevant information is given precedence over other less important features. For that reason, we provide two page templates for your unique content: Video and Gallery Page Template. This way your website’s navigation will be neat and easy to plan, and your user would not be bombarded with “information overload”.

Responsive Layout

You guys are really making it so hard for your affiliates to promote your products. I have created a post on Papuros but I didn’t find my affiliate link on my affiliate account. I know I’m not giving you much traffic but my posts on your themes are ranking very well. I’m just frustrated that after your theme upgrade, you’ve messed up with your affiliate program. I’m thinking, and I’m sure I’m not the only one, if it’s still worth it to promote your theme when you don’t even care about us – your affiliates. :(

    Appreciate the reply. I got an email from another of your guy but when I logged in to my account, I saw Papuros’ link. All OK now but I hope this things get fixed in the future. In the end, we are promoting your products so it should also be good to your business.
    
    ps. I have replaced all the old links with the new one. Good thing, i’m using Affiliate Ninja so it didn’t eat up a lot of my time.
