This is something that took us some time to decide because it will have pretty significant effect to you as our affiliate. After much thought, we have come up with some changes to ColorLabs Affiliate Program:

1. Minimum Payment Threshold
2. Performance Bonus

These changes will come into force on June 1, 2012 and the first payout that’s affected by these new rules will be on July 15, 2012, which is the payout for commissions generated in June 2012. The upcoming payout on June 15, 2012, which is for commissions generated in May 2012, is not affected by these changes.

Dear affiliates,

We recently updated our membership system. The downside of this recent action is all affiliate links got refreshed. So if you have never changed your ColorLabs affiliate links then your current ones wouldn’t be working anymore. But rest assured, old affiliate links are still working. However, we still recommend that you update the links as we will only use new affiliate links for our new themes.

We have provided the new affiliate links on your Affiliate Info. To get them, first you need to login. Then click the “My Account” drop-down button on the top right of the screen (shown on the image) and click the “Affiliate Info” menu. Please replace your current links with the new ones.

Dear affiliates!

We are announcing changes in the terms and conditions of the  ColorLabs Affiliate Program.

We are decreasing affiliate commission from 35% to 25% of sales value. Although that might sound like bad news to you, the good news is that you can now earn commission starting from the very first transaction you generate. This means that you will be able to make money faster than before.

This change will be effective on March 1, 2012.

Please note, the commission increase apply only to new sales generated after the increase was announced, which is October 3, 2011. It does not apply to all commissions that you have earned before the day of the announcement.
