Installing Invitora

There are two ways to install Invitora theme on your WordPress:

1. Installing via WordPress Dashboard

1. Navigate to your WordPress Admin Menu and open Appearance → Themes section
2. Switch to Install Themes tab
3. Select Upload
4. Browse for .zip file on your computer and install it
5. Activate theme

2. Installing via FTP

1. Open your FTP Client Application (example: FileZilla)
2. Fill the login details (host, username, and password) then press Quickconnect
3. Go to ‘wp-content’ folder
4. Go to ‘themes’ folder
5. Extract the invitora.zip file into your local drive then search the current location and upload the ‘invitora’ folder

Got an error during installation process? Try the following:

• If you are upgrading the Invitora theme via WordPress Admin menu open your ‘invitora.zip’ and rename the ‘invitora’ folder before uploading. Eg: invitora2. Then press Enter
• Make sure you are using the latest version of WordPress
• Make sure your hosting is running the latest version of PHP and MySQL
  Try to upload manually via FTP (FileZilla)

Theme Overview

General Settings

Before you can start creating some content, these are the first-time settings that you have to do:

1. Go to Invitora Options → General Settings
2. You can choose any theme stylesheet you are going to use on your website. There are 6 theme stylesheets. They are pink.css, purple.css, black.css, default.css, blue.css, and red.css
3. Set your website’s favicon. Upload a 16x16px .ico image. Click here to generate your favicon
4. There is an option to enable/disable custom logo on your website. If you enable this feature, you can upload an image or attach an image URL that you are going to use as your website logo
5. Set your sidebar image by uploading an image or by attaching a URL (external image)
6. You can specify a tagline for your event. It will be placed below the main title of your website
7. You can specify a brief description about your event. It will be placed below the sidebar image
8. You can specify which entries do you want to enable comment system. Are they posts, pages, posts and pages, or none of them
9. Presstrends tracking is our feature to know how our customer use our theme, we use this feature for the next upgrade of theme you use. But there will be no personal information we get, so your privacy is safe.
   It’s your choice to use it or not

FrontPage Settings

In this section, you can specify which posts or pages that you want to display as a main content on your front page. You just enter post/page in any order you want.

Social Networking

1. Go to Invitora Options → Social Networking
2. Specify your social networking accounts that you are going to integrate to your website. There are Facebook, Vimeo, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube account available
3. Also you can enable/disable Social Share Button you would like to display on the single post and pages. There are Facebook Like Button, Twitter Share Button, and Google +1 Button available

Open Graph Setting

1. Go to Invitora Options → Open Graph Settings
2. There is option to Enable/Disable Open Graph feature on your website
3. You can specify the site name, open graph admin, and image url for your open graph image

Thumbnail Settings

1. Go to Invitora Options → Thumbnail Settings
2. There is an option to use WordPress Featured Image or not. If you prefer to use it, there are two additional options:

• Dynamic Resize: If this options is enabled, the thumbnail in each post will be resized dynamically using WordPress native function
• Hard Crop: The original image will be cropped to match the target aspect ratio

3. There is an option to enable TimThumb.php script which will dynamically re-size images added through post custom field
4. There is an option to generate post thumbnail automatically from the first image in post
5. There is an option to enable post thumbnail in RSS feed article
6. You can specify the thumbnail image size that you are going to use on your website

Analytics ID, RSS Feed

Go to Invitora Options → Analytics ID, RSS Feed. In this section, you can:

1. Put your google analytics code in your website
2. Specify your feedburner URL
3. Specify the feedburner comments URL

Footer Settings

1. Go to Invitora Options → Footer Settings
2. In this section, you can enable/disable the custom credit on your website. If you enable this feature, there is an additional option to specify the text that you want to display on the footer section

Contact Form

Go to Invitora Options → Contact Form. Specify the email addres that you are going to use in the contact form.

Page Template

There are 3 page templates available in Invitora Theme. They are:

1. Blog: You can create a Blog page, by creating a new empty page with blog template
2. Contact: You can create a Contact page, by creating a new empty page with contact template
3. Gallery: You can create a gallery page, by creating a new empty page with gallery template. Also you can specify how many pictures you want to display via ColorLabs Image/Video Settings panel
4. RSVP: In version 1.0.0 You can create RSVP page by creating a new page with default template and add RSVP form using any Form Plugin (e.g. Contact Form 7)

Sidebar

1. Go to WordPress Dashboard → Appearance → Widgets
2. If you want to add widgets in your sidebar, simply drag any available widget to the sidebar column on the right. There are two sidebars available for you:

• Sidebar: Sidebar in single post view
• Sidebar Page: Sidebar in single page view

Invitora provides 10 additional widget that you can use in your sidebar. They are:
